Mission Statement
In the absence of liberty, humankind is diminished.
For 47 years, Iranians have been struggling to break free of the vicious stranglehold the Islamic theocracy has had over them. On multiple occasions, these brave men and women, armed only with bare hands, have tried to rise up and overthrow the regime, only to be crushed time and time again.
Now, in 2026, they’ve stood up once more, facing armed thugs who have no compunction about killing their own countrymen, and suffering innumerable losses.
The Free Iran Project is a grassroots volunteer cohort of people from different nationalities, ethnicities, and religions who believe in one thing:
It’s time for a free Iran, and this may be our last chance to achieve that goal within our lifetimes.
We will do what we can to aid Iranians in their fight.
We will inform, campaign, energize, unite, and emerge victorious.
Join us, and help restore the dignity of liberty to Iranians.

Others
The team is comprised of a group of passionate, fierce Persophiles and fighters against tyranny in all its forms. Our dream is to one day meet up in Tehran and breathe in the air of a liberated country.
Our Stance on AI
We strongly believe the widespread use of AI-generated images is hurting the very cause we’re fighting for.
The Free Iran Project will not use any AI-generated content. If we inadvertently do, we will immediately remove the offending content and alert our readers. If we are in a rare situation where its use is unavoidable, we will make its presence clear.
